“Good Tourist Hotel”
Reviewed March 30, 2013

This was the first stop in an 8-day tour of Israel. The hotel is popular with groups, and the rooms are confortable for this type of hotel. Breakfast was ok and plentiful, although the foods were more jewish than christian and not in agreement with my diet. Location is good and quiet, with the old city relatively close by, as well as restaurants. The lounge was excellent with good bar foods and an excellent bartender, who was very friendly and helpful. Only one small thorn: I had a wake up call foor 1:45 PM (went to bed for an hour nap) and the very old person at the reception never called the room. Thus I missed the tours planned for that afternoon. Please be aware than only restaurants and supermarkets, nothing else is open such as banks for ATM transactions on weekends or weekday afternoons. Also, it was unseasonably cold, low forties at night and low fifties daytime and no hotel had heat even the expensive hotels such as the Sheraton. Other than that, it is a good tourist class hotel, clean and confortable.

Room Tip: Choose a room on a higher floor, if you can.

Great hotel in a very nice and quiet area, on walking distance to the old city and the city centre. Very nice and friendly personnel, excellent buffet breakfast with live piano music and restaurant. The rooms are not big, but cosey and very nicely decorated and have tea/coffee facilities.

The hotel has a very good location. It's close to old city and to city cente as well. The rooms are good, clean and very comfortable. The are coffee anf tea in the room.
The hotel has a parking, which is very important because for the parking in the area you must pay.
The breakfast is good but not varied.
I think the hotel is good but a little bit expencive.

For those who need to be in a quiet area with access to the inbal hotel nearby without paying inbal prices then this is the best deal in town the rooms are a little smaller than inbal but fine with modern bathroom albeit small breakfast were plentiful. Great place to sleep if you plan on being out all day!

Rather than staying in a huge tourist hotel, this smaller boutique has all you need. Good service, good food and a nice small gift store with a very friendly owner. We are here for 5 nights on our Walking Adventure. It is very conveniently located...you can easily walk to the Joppa gate of the old city. Restaurants, and laundry nearby as well. Good breakfast here and staff is wonderful. Free wireless in the lobby is available. Also a local synagogue is nearby if you want to visit one while in Jerusalem.

Just returned from a two days stay at Prima Royale. The hotel is Very close to the old city and seems to have been recently renovared. Rooms are small but very clean and well kept. Staff is always willing to help. Even breakfast was tasty.
It's a very convenient place to stay if you are planning to tour Jerusalem and want to rest at the end of the day.
