This was my second stay with a group of pilgrims. We had a wonderful experience!
The rooms were spacious, clean, and well appointed.
The staff could not do enough for us. The food served buffet style was plentiful, hot, tasty, and well presented.

In the 9 days we were in Israel, we never felt any concerns about our safety. Everyone we met in our day trips to the Holy Sites were courteous, helpful, and kind; they could not do enough for us. I would recommend all Catholics to visit Israel and the Grand Court Hotel in particular.

I just came back from a Catholic Pilgrimage with a group of 41 people. We stay at the Grand Court and loved it. The people were friendly and so accomdomating to our needs. The rooms very comfortable, clean and very pleasant. The meals were outstanding. Both the breakfast and dinner buffet had something for everyone and was always fresh and satisfying.
The management staff and wait staff were so gracious and good to our group. It was a very wonderful place to stay while in Jerusalem.

Our 6th stay at this property. We were part of a pilgrimage group of 41 people. Service terrific; rooms spacious; food just like a cruise ship; location not important, on tour bus at 7:30 am and back at 6ish, too tired to go out at night. Disappointed that the ATM is no longer in the gift shop.

We stayed at the Grand Court Hotel with my parents, husband & 2 teenage children. I would not stay again. The position is on the East side of the border of East & West Jerusalem. There is nothing around if you want to go for a short walk for a coffee or look at some shops. We were not part of an organised group, who I understand have a better experience.
Breakfast was the best part of our stay. There are 2 areas for breakfast - one for the groups and the other for the rest of guests. The smaller area serves freshly squeezed orange juice, eggs to order and waffles. Thought with only 1 person doing all this serivce can be slow. The buffet breakfast was a typical Israeli breakfast, in plentiful supply and reasonably tasty. With the limited places to eat around the hotel we ate dinner there. Service was slow, but the food was good and generous serves.
The fitness centre is open only from 12 noon. Frommers reported that this hotel was opened in 2005. We all found that hard to believe. The rooms are small, but ok.
I would not stay there again.

This hotel was nice and I was told that for Jerusalem it was Very nice. The buffet for breakfast and dinner were great however, out of 32 people in our group 5 women became ill, but not all at once.
The food was suspected, but no definitive cause has been found.

Unlike much of Israel the hotel prices were not gouging and many prices in the hotel gift shop were competitive to the bazaar shops found in old Jerusalem.

The rooms were very roomy, and above average except for the carpets which were long past due for replacement. The beds were two singles pushed together. OK except that they used single bed sheets as well.

Our tour group stayed at the Grand Court and had a great time.
Over all the rooms were clean and tidy, although the carpets are really rough and looked very stained and dirty the over all atmosphere was clean.

The front desk staff were not the friendliest but the waiters and bar tender were great!

The food was excellent and something different added every night. Would definitely stay there again.

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at the Grand Court Hotel, Jerusalem. This was our second visit to the hotel, and we will definitely be returning on our future annual visits. The location is excellent: easy walking distance to the Old City, and the downtown Cental district as well as many points of interest. Accommodation was spacious and well appointed. Service was friendly, prompt and attentive to our needs. The Israeli breakfast was extensive, sumptuous and delicious, as good as anywhere we have been. Management is friendly and accomodating. We are delighted to recommend the Grand Court on all counts,

Alan and Jennifer Hoffmann, Canada
