Easy to walk in this area and view all on display. A little noisy with crowds but does not interfere with the experience of being there.

Witness first-hand how the Christian faith has established its own significance and importance of Jerusalem to the Christian faith.

The people here are beautiful, the quarter is clean and loaded with character. The history is amazing and it is wonderful to see the Tower of David right there at the Jaffa gate, the main entrance to the Christian Quarter.

I understand, although didn't participate due to lack of time, that Christians meet each morning at 8:45 am to walk and pray on the ramparts of the old city.

Christ Church, the oldest protestant church in the area, has a great museum, cafe, and inn. They also are involved in providing lunches for the poor in Jerusalem.

The merchants in the Christian Quarter are friendly and full of information, they expect you to barter. One can find a beautiful array of linens, jewelry, spices, fruits, pottery, and souvenirs in the countless streets lined with local merchants.
