“Not for claustrophobic people!”
Reviewed August 11, 2013

Most of my group loved this experience, but as soon as I got crouched down to enter the tunnel, I had to turn around and leave. Many of the larger men with backpacks were scraping their heads on the ceiling. The water reached your thighs, so bring water shoes and were some dri-fit or quick dry clothing. The kids loved it and some actually laid down and swam a bit. I could not handle the closed in feeling. Be advised of this before you book it. It is an amazing place, but not for everyone. It is also nice to be a little wet in the heat of the old city. It is not ADA compliant, suffice it to say!

“Excellent night time tour.”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

This tour is a surprise...I was able to take it late at night, and it's great to be able to add another tour to a city where most tours are in the mornings or afternoons. I started this tour at 10:30 pm, and was finished by midnight.

“Experiencing Jerusalem with your (wet) feet!”
Reviewed August 2, 2013

The tours starts off in a lookout and an explanation on the City of David, which puts all the biblical history in perspective. The next stop is in the City of David archaelogical site, briefing you, among other things, on recent amazing findings that strengthen the connection between the stories of the bible and Jerusalem. Then you enter the Hezekiah tunnels: one of the most amazing water facilities of ancient times, which never stopped working for 3,000 years! It's a long walk (~500 meters) at a rather slow pace, depending on the season the water may be hip-high for an adult, but is one wet experience that you won't forget.
