Owner description: Come rediscover Biblical Jerusalem! Located just outside the Old City walls, the City of David is in fact the historical Old City of Jerusalem, containing archeological remnants going back 4,000 years. Come see for yourself where it all began...

The water is not that deep and the tunnels are dark. Awesome experience in City of David for one ticket price. Take the early tour so you can see the city after.

If me and my 60 year old ma can traverse underground along hezekiah's tunnel, then anyone can! This is found in the city of david, outside the dung gate of the Old City. It is a unique experience, and well worth doing! Bring a torch (though you can buy one at the shop near the entrance).

You will be walking in knee deep water, for about a mile, at some points you'll have to duck down, but it is a lot of fun! do it!

We went through Hezekiah's tunnel and I loved it! It was definitely a highlight of our time in Jerusalem. Make sure to pack shoes that can get wet and either wear shorts or a change of clothes and a flashlight. It was super fun to walk through such a piece of history and I loved that there was still water running through. From the end, you can re-enter a drainage tunnel system and walk up to the Davidson center near the old city. I never would have found it on our own, but our guide showed us or you can ask around when you exit Hezekiah's tunnel.

What fun! The refreshing water in the hot summer. Incredible that this was found under ground and that water is still flowing there
