Incredible panoramic views. Very interesting Jewish cemetery full of history including the tomb of Menahem Begin, Prime Minister of Israel who was active with the peace talks with Egyptian President Anwar Sedat. We enjoyed our tour guide, Samuel, who taught us that placing a stone on the burial site pays respect.

You just get AWESTRUCK, almost overwhelmed with the antiquity and vastness of all the ancient yet even current grave sights. Very heart moving.

The location offers a lovely view of the Old City. There is much historical and cultural significance at that site.

The is a very old cemetery that is still in use. It is important because it overlooks the Holy City and the Temple Mount. It is traditional to place a stone on the top of a tomb when you visit a family member. The more stones the more visits.
