Jerusalem offers to foreigners numerous sightseeings, but not so numerous are restaurants where to have a rest and eat good meals staying in the very center of the city and in a quiet atmosfere, in a newly opened, good-looking and very clean ambience, right in front of the marvellous Damascus Gate and near the mysterious Garden Tomb.
Here you can taste the best of the local dishes and feel the real oriental hospitality of the owners, father and son, Mr. Hussein and Mohammed. A few steps up above a little shop that occupies the ground floor, and you get in a neat ambience where you can relax and feel yourself at home.
The menu is rich and tasty, and the prices are reasonable and honest, the dishes are well served, prepared by professional hands of Mohammed, who has experience of work in some famous hotel of Jerusalem.
Important: the restaurant is always opened, EVERY DAY, even at breakfast time. When I needed Wi-Fi it was kindly let me use their net. Both owners speak a good fluent English. (At the time there was not any sign in latin caracters, but now, I think there is one, that's why I made a foto of the entrance outside.
COME AND TASTE the excellent SHAKSHUKA that Mohammed cooks, YOU'll NEVER FORGET IT!
