Walking the ramparts above the walls of the old city of Jerusalem was icing on the cake of my stay. After seeing so much, being able to climb up on the walls, walk around the city without fighting the human traffic and maze of narrow streets, then look down upon all with a birds-eye view was a special treat. It provided a special time of reflection of everything already experienced, yet not be rushed to move on. It is so bypassed. I walked from one side of the city to the next and saw only two other people upon the wall, but, I could see the bustling of thousands down below in the city. It was truly a great way to review everything already experienced.
