One of the few old abandoned Arab villages still remaining within the city limits of Jerusalem. It is an easy walk downhill and then you come to the fixed up water pool. When we went yesterday there were dozens of little kids in the pool as part of summer camp activities. You can walk around the various old Arab homes that are now totally abandoned and imagine what this village may have looked like before 1948. I wonder if the city will ever decide to refurbish the village and present it as a tourist attraction.
