“Our best meal in Jerusalem!”
Reviewed May 1, 2014

Mantra was well worth it's substantial price tag. Their appetizer selections were unique and generous in portion size. Our two husbands had tasty entrecotes in a red wine glaze served with beautiful mashed potatoes, and firm, Al dent eight green beans . The two of us women had juicy grilled chicken with perfectly cooked vegetables. Mantra's chocolate lava cake wax also a hit. The service and ambience made this a place we want to remember to tell our friends about back home. No trip to Jerusalem should end without a trip to Mantra.

“Beyond Our Expections”
Reviewed April 24, 2014

My family of 16 just returned from our trip to Israel. We were there during Passover. We wanted to have a memorable sedar with our family. It took much research before leaving the States to find the right place without seeing it. From the time my correspondence began it was made less stressful. They worked with me and always made me feel comfortable in our family needs.
The night of the sedar we entered a Perfect place. The environment made us all feel that this is where we should be on this night. The table was ready for us. We brought our own sedar plate and matzoh but they too provided matzah for us. We were ableto have a short service without interruption. They worked the dinner around our family. To sum it up I want to quote our 14 year old grandson,"thank you for the Passover dinner you guys hosted, reserved and lead. You did a great job. Oh, did I mention the food tasted like it could be from Paris."
It was truly a Passover Sedar to Remember. We all look forward to returning.

“An Oasis in Jerusalem”
Reviewed April 21, 2014

Wonderful staff, mouth watering food, sublime setting. The garden is a delight. This is a real hidden treasure in the center of the town. I visit every time i'm in the city, and would recommend it for anyone looking for somewhere lovely to enjoy their evening.

“Quiet at noon, very good dishes, bright chef”
Reviewed April 20, 2014

Going the second time we found the dishes very good. We enjoyed the tuna with the Tobiko. The dishes are spicy and the desserts are delightful. The staff is very friendly. Worth a visit.

“great food. small dishes”
Reviewed April 16, 2014

the food is great. first and main dishes were very tasty.we were 4. 3 of us had fish of the day for main course. It was a very well done bass fillet. the problem was that it was tiny. for that price one could expect not to leave the restaurant hungry... a pity because other then that, it was very good.
One very good thing is that the restaurant is celiac friendly.
