“Jerusalem has never looked more romantic”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2013

I must say, I did not expect such a pleasant surprise
A new tapas restaurant in Jerusalem that we never heard of the place befor. We decided to try and enjoyed every minute.
The service was warm and courteous, the food was delicious and was served beautifully. Dishes are not very big so we ordered a few dishes and shared them.
But what was most surprising was the romantic and special atmosphere is the place. We felt as we are in a Spain.
Highly recommended.

“Spain and Jerusalem go very well together.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 5, 2013

The Tapasitas is a rather unusual restaurant in the fact that they have taken one of the oldest building outside the old city walls of Jerusalem and turned it into an elegant looking restaurant. Rivlin street is in the center of one of the first neighbourhoods outside the city walls (late 90th century) and the area is full of restaurants. The difference however between Tapasitas and the others is that they have not left the building the way it was with stone walls and the winds coming through the windows: they have lovingly recreated an "aristocratic" home the way it used to be. Walk up the stairs (and see what is used to look like) but once inside you are in a different world. The background music is Spanish and the serivce is caring. The food is Spanish but geared to Israeli taste: meaning spicier that Spanish food. Since the place is kosher (without rabbinic supervision ) there is no seafood and no dairy products but be surprised at what you can create without these items. The food is very tasty and you are not going to regret it. Prices are absolutely reasonable and you will spend about 200 NIS for 2 persons including first and main course and a drink
