The highlight of this hotel is definitively the breakfast with a such an waste choice that even after 4 days you did not manage to try everything. All food is daily freshly prepared and/or baked. We also liked the happy hour where they served wine and great little snacks which made a nice aperitivo before you head to a dinner place.
Location wise Arthur also is perfect: nearly everything is within walking distance including the tramway. A highlight is also the helpful staff. We had a family room under the roof with a very small window. Since we were in our room only for sleeping it did not bother us. All in all highly recommended hotel.

First time in Jerusalem, stayed based on positive reviews seen here. Room was small, but clean. We loved the location. Staff at the hotel were amazing. Front desk was very friendly and helpful (Aliza). Best part of the stay was the food, just unbelievably good. Our breakfast host Kasem was so friendly, and the chef Timor was great to talk with. Excellent stay, thank you.

I've stayed for five days at Arthur and was really sorry I couldn't stay for longer.
The staff was very nice and helpful and went the extra mile to make sure I was pleased with everything.
While the rooms are small they are nicely designed and has everything someone might need.
The breakfast was very very good as
well as the happy hour
The only disadvantage was the noise from the bar across the street, but that's what you gey for staying in the heart of the city. Totally worth it

Beyond being a fabulous boutique hotel (we'll get there in a minute), the location of this property simply can't be topped as it is just off Jaffa and Ben Yahuda streets and a brisk 10 minute (or leisurely 15-20 minute) from the old city. Perhaps the best falafel shop in Jerusalem (Moshiko) is around the corner, as are a number of bars, restaurants, shops, etc.

Staff was friendly, attentive, accommodating, patient and competent - everything and anything that one could ask for in hotel hospitality. Having stayed in a number of Atlas Boutique properties over the years, I have found this to be a common trait of these Atlas properties and decidedly NOT the norm for many/most Israeli hotels.

As many other reviews have noted, the rooms were somewhat small, but very comfortable, almost elegantly simply and very efficiently configured. Our 3rd floor room had a small balcony overlooking the street scene below.

We heard no room-to-room or hallway noise, but did hear some street/bar/restaurant noise as we were facing towards Ben Yahuda. We had the pleasure of staying in this hotel over Yom Ha’atzmaut (Independence Day) and street festivities were loud and on-going. Fortunately, a set of ear plugs allowed us to head to sleep while the festivities continued until sunrise.

Other likes included a scrumptious breakfast that varied from morning to morning, a 5-7PM happy hour with hor d'oeuvres. We also appreciated the upscale Spa of the Sea toiletries.

One interesting and surprising oddity for Israel. We noted that neither of the two elevators was set to Shabbat mode, so if this is a potential issue for you, it might be wise to request a lower floor vs use of the modern stairwell.

Our overall impression of this hotel was very, very positive and when we visit Jerusalem in the future, it it highly likely that we will return to The Arthur Hotel.
