We stayed for 5 nights and had a great time. The location of the hotel could not be bettered, within walking distance of most things you would want to see. The rooms are a good size, very clean with aircon that works. The reception staff are very pleasant and helpful.
Breakfast is a good buffet style with the option to order cooked things, and the drinks and nibbles early evening are a nice touch.
We had a problem with our window not shutting (you need the double glazing to keep the street sounds out) and were moved to another room without any argument. All in all we would not stay anywhere else in Jerusalum.

We stayed just one night in this centrally located modern boutique hotel.
What to like:
- small but moden room with comfy bed and very tasteful decoration
- great bathroom with fab shower
-helpful and friendly reception staff
-tasty breakfast with plenty of choice
What not to like:
- if you are a light sleeper avoid a room at the front as the bars below are lively till late
- we arrived at 9;30pm , by which time the car park at the Harmony was full( we found and paid for parking nearby)
Bottom line, I would go back.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the rear to minimise noise

We stayed here for the night of our honeymoon that was spent in Jerusalem, and wow, just wow.

No sooner had we parked the car in their sister hotel's secure car park, 2 streets away, did a helpful energetic member of staff appear to help unload our bags and transfer us to Arthur hotel by golf buggy. Very different, very convenient and a great start.

The check in and customer service was impeccable, the hotel beautifully decorated, and our room a luxurious and unique space, complete with balcony overlooking the streets below.

'Happy hour' - complementary wine, finger food and coffee between 5 and 7pm - is a wonderful and practical embellishment. The Israeli breakfast is very good with an extensive spread, impressive cheese selection and omelettes to order.

Some previous reviewers noted that the surrounding bars can make street facing rooms noisy; there was live jazz music next door the night we stayed. The music was loud even with the windows firmly shut, but stopped promptly at 10pm. So not an issue for us at all.

As it's such a unique hotel in a fantastic location for exploring the city, we will almost certainly be visiting again next time we're in Jerusalem.

I can't say enough about this hotel! We just returned from a stay in Israel and Jordan. My husband and I stayed for a week at the Arthur Hotel. We selected it from the reviews we read. The room was wonderful-large, comfortable and well decorated with a small terrace which we did not use. We upgraded to Room 208 which was quiet and larger. We enjoyed the breakfast which was varied and large with always fresh salads, cheeses, breads, etc. not typical of your" American style hotels which we wanted to avoid. We met a cross section of friendly travelers from everywhere and always struck up conversations with many at breakfast. The happy hour was unlimited daily (except Sat.) and was so filling that we rarely ate dinner. The hotel is centrally located within quick walking distance of the old city and shopping. The staff is super nice. I complimented them on their #1 rating which they said has slipped since the Waldorf Astoria just opened. In our book, it is definitely #1! We also stayed at their sister hotel, Hotel Cinema, in Tel Aviv. Just as great!

Room Tip: If you are just a couple, choose Room 208.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Arthur hotel and loved the location. It is very easy to walk to the Old City and there are many good restaurants nearby. The staff were very friencly and helpful. Our room was small but pretty much what you would expect in a large city outside of the United States.
