“Just bring earplugs!”

We just returned from Israel and loved this hotel. Everything from breakfast to happy hour was wonderful. It's also a perfect location for seeing the old city. A bus stop 2 blocks away takes you to the Israel Museum on bus 66. We had a room facing the front so it was really noisy. There is a bar right below that plays music most nights until 11 PM. We had read previous posts regarding this so we were well equipped with earplugs and a white-noise app for our Iphone. Maybe rooms on the opposite side are quieter. The front desk was also very helpful when it came time to arrange transportation to the airport.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the back of the hotel.

This hotel is a in a great location in downtown Jerusalem within walking distance to many important sites, and on good public transport routes to everywhere else. Parking is a problem during the week, but you don't need a car in Jerusalem anywhere.

It's a cute hotel, clean, friendly, and a little bit different from the large standard Israeli characterless hotels - well worth staying there.

I spent two nights in this hotel. It's another golden secret of Jerusalem. I advice Arthur Hotel for location, cleanliness, design and service. There are maybe better than this, for much more money of course, however from all that I read about other hotels in the city, this one is better when you rate all the items of an evaluation.

Location of hotel in the midst of Ben Yehuda pedestrian mall is great for those who like to be in the middle of the action. Can be slightly noisy outside at peak hours but this did not bother us.

Beds and bedding were good. Shower products standard. Shower decent. Room of good size. Was plenty of space for the extra bed that we put in for a child. Child's bed was safe and of reasonable quality.

Breakfast was nice.

Parking situation is a bit odd since you basically have to park down the block and then get driven to the hotel on a golf cart (because it is on pedestrian mall). Highly recommend calling ahead to get directions regarding exactly where to park.

The afternoon snack spread is a nice touch on weekdays.

As a note to management It is a bit lame to use the Jewish Sabbath as an excuse for not having the afternoon snack spread on Saturday. It is totally reasonable to decide to not have this amenity on Saturdays but unnecessary to blame religion for this decision. There are plenty of hotels in Jerusalem that find ways to both observe the traditional laws and serve food on the Sabbath.

Otherwise, staff was helpful and accommodating.

Room Tip: Rooms that are reinforced protected rooms are the quietest but have smallest windows.

What a warm and lovely hotel walking distance to great food and shopping. The hotel is located in a pedestrian promenade and lots of action all day (except Saturday). We had an easy walk or short cab ride to the old city. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was delicious and homemade. We stayed three nights and plan to return.

We stayed at the Arthur hotel in Jerusalem. We had an excellent stay there. We got a great service from jasmine the receptionist that advised us in a professional and pleasant manner, and other wonderful girls – Tal, Dana and Doreen.
The hotel is decorated in an impressive, intimate and comfortable style. Very good location. I appreciated the service provided to us by Ori from the dining room, that didn't stop indulging. Ayala the hotel manager was charming. I am waiting for the next stay at Arthur hotel. Meanwhile I am sending all my friends to this hotel.

Stayed two nights at the Arthur Hotel which is located in a pedestrian area with lots of shops and restaurants just steps from the door. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to the Jaffa Gate of the historical part of Jerusalem, also along a mostly pedestrian street and tram line. As mentioned in other reviews the staff was excellent and, cognizant of their high Trip Advisor rating, went to extra lengths to make the guests happy and keep the ratings high. The rooms were on the small side and our bathroom had a pretty bad musty/dank smell but was otherwise very nice. There was a complementary happy hour each night with appetizers which was great to come back to after a full day of sightseeing and starting the day off with the breakfast (dairy, salads & bread but no meat) was nice too. I would recommend the hotel to others.

Room Tip: We had a room in the back of the hotel so we had no street noise.
