We had a family meal. Restaurant with great homemade food. The desserts are highly recommended. The restaurant is very small and because it is very noisy [talking and eating people] except that it was delicious and reasonable price.

Hidden away in an alley way off Agrippas, this restaurant was terrific for dinner the night we were there. We thought the service was exceptional with both waitresses attending our table, chatty and friendly and showing concern that we enjoy our evening. The salads were very good and our main dishes were excellent. One of us ordered spicy, one of us ordered bland and the other 2 ordered as listed on the menu. Everyone was satisfied with their main courses which arrived very quickly after ordering. We lingered over drinks after our main meal for a while before having the tasting plate for dessert which included a bit of everything. Delicious. The big surprise at this restaurant was the price. We were a group of 4 but for my husband and myself including 2 mains, beverages (one alcoholic), and dessert, the price came in under $50. What a deal! We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and the laid back feeling in this restaurant.

Went there for a date, felt like the waiters were over efficient in making us finish as quickly as possible...
First course was delivered literally within seconds from order ( which means it was waiting for us) and was poor, main course was ok but the gran finale was the desert, spinge - marrocon version for donates, was served cold ( instead of right out of the boiling oil) and after complaining retuned the same one ( since we cut the first one we know...:( after heating in the oven . All together 50 minutes in and out for what was suppose to be romantic dinner ( we could hardly talk because of the loud arabic music at the background...)

We celebrated a birthday here and it was absolutely fantastic. The vibe was terrific and the food was even better. We ordered the tasting menu. I had hope to meet Avi the master chef there but he was not in that evening. The food just kept coming out. The fried cauliflower in tehina was outrageous ( zillion alories a bite) and the salads were excellent. The stuffed artichoke hearts were great, the spiced beef was soft as butter, meatballs were so deliciously scented and spiced plus all other delectable dishes were served generously. Our waitress and hostess was terrifc. We were with toursts and had luckily reserved a table beforehand. A crowd came while we were there and they asked us to move tables for desserts. We were so full and happy we did not mind at all. The desserts were mouth watering. This huge fried doughnut with vanilla sauce - straight out of the frying pan (probably 10K kcal a bite) was delish but the pinnacle was the pistachio filled dough - a small delicacy served with the tea. The party atmoshpere was loud and bubbling. Not a place to dine quiety but syrely lots of fun.

Great restaurant, tucked away in an old Jerusalem building. Try their everything. Some might be a bit spicy, but it's all great.
