The tour we took through the Western Wall Tunnels was incredible. We had a wonderful guide through the tunnels. We purchased the tour right on the website. The history and information provided on the tour was incredible and seeing the tunnels was remarkable. We came as close as is humanly possible to the Holy of Holies. Just incredible. This tour is a must!

We took a Kotel Tour and had a great guide named Steve. It leads you underneath the city along the wall of the Western Wall of the temple. You see the HUGE stones of the temple complex, the ancient road and also Jewish women praying. Very special and not to be missed. Since you are underground, this is nice for a hot day also. We booked this tour in advance (search for Kotel Tunnel Tours). You gather near the check point if you come through the old city, near the Western Wall (not the check point near the so called Dung Gate.

The Western Wall continues past what is ordinarily seen, and this tour provides excellent guides to explain it all as you walk alongside the Wall underground. It is well lit and well ventilated so you never feel closed in at all. Great history lessons!

History and the Bible come to life as you walk through this tunnel. All of the Biblical characters come right off the page. Marvel at the size and weight of just one stone in Herods wall.
Awesome.

This is the only way to see the entire length of the wall. Amazing walk, and history. We noticed little prayer papers sticking in the wall. Not good for those that don't like crowded spaces.
