“Get your tickets early”

This is a great historical overview and very popular. It's pretty cool to get under the city this way.

“Excellent tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 19, 2014

It's quite a long tour but you will learn so much about the temple including getting to see some models of what the temple looked like. You will also get to the closest point to the Holy of Holies. Plus you will be able to pray without Chabad asking if you wish to lay tefillin!

“History”

Glad we went. You need to make reservations in advance. Very interesting historically. Most of excavations are from Harrods time.

“Under the Old City of Jerusalem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 19, 2014

Visit the Western Wall, as seen when it was build 2000 years old. The stones that are uncovered in the Western Wall Plaza (also known as the Wailing Wall or Kotel) are only but a small part of the entire wall built to support the Temple Mount. Not suitable for severe claustrophobics.

“A highlight, but not for the claustrophobic”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 19, 2014

A fascinating look under the Western Wall, going back to 2000 year old streets. But not for the claustrophobic (VERY tight tunnels) or with problems walking. It's about 2 hours, including a guided walk back through the Muslim quarter of the Old City. And not forgiving--if you drop your camera or phone into one of the cisterns at the end, you ain't gettin' it back, friend.
