Find this for non hebrew speaking people is a little hard but well worth the hunt as the guides are informative and the tunnels a hidden treasure

What an experience to see and have well explained the history of the foundation (literally) of Jerusalem and the series of levels created over more that 2000 years. The guide was very informative and the physical props and visual effects helped explain the complex and fascinating history. Its important to book online first as tickets sell fast. Very well run and organised.

Tour of the ancient tunnels under the Western Wall fascinating….
AMAZING and well worth visiting.
Incredible to "see" and be taken through what went on so many thousands of years ago....

What most people do not realize, is that these sites are still being archaeologically explored. The tunnel I saw yesterday was only discovered in the last year. They weren't built as tunnels but as arches supporting the temple but this created an underground passage where you will see remnants of the first and second temples, as well as additions by King Herod and walk on stones that most certainly Jesus himself must have walked - as you pass through the ancient markets of Herod's Jerusalem. Our guide was great, a form Canadian who moved to Israel and just finished his Law degree, and was fluent in Hebrew as well as English. He was very knowledgeable and engaging- it will be sad to lose him to the courtrooms! You need to book this tour at least a day or two in advance or you will get shut out.

The ticket gives you the right to a guided tour. Take it, or you will miss the best part - the historical explanations.
