“A special place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 4, 2012

A nice neighborhood, just to walk around at day time or at the evening. when you can also see the lights of the old city in front of you, together with the walls of the city.

“Beautiful Neighbehood”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 14, 2012

Mishkenot Sha'ananim was the first neighberhood built outside the old city of Jerusalem and was renovated about 40 years ago. Today, many artists live in the neighberhood, and is is full of galleries. The neighberhood is built on the side of the mountain, and has a breathtaking panoramic view of the old city. Mishkenot Sha'ananim is well maintained and beautifull, and one can surely enjoy 2-3 hours visiting it.

“Jerusalem's Exclusive Guests”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 4, 2007

I stayed at the Mishkenot for a week in February 2007. This is not actually a public hotel, invited guests only so it's pretty exclusive. It's more of a guest house really. The staff are pleasant, the rooms are spacious, clean and with sat. television, nice out door view and doors open so you can sit outside facing the Old City. A lovely place to stay.
