This is part of the Garden Tomb tour and it does look like a skull. Once again, it will be up to the individual to determine if this might be the spot. History does not favor it, but the Garden Tomb area is a beautiful place to remember your Christian heritage. The "skull hill" itself is outside the garden and surrounded by a bus terminal among other things. If you keep a spiritual eye towards the hill you will be good, but if you come looking for historical significance you may be disappointed. The best way to appreciate skull hill is to understand what it symbolizes.

You might need to use your imagination here. From the tomb garden it looks like a skull and that's about all I can say. The best bit was getting there via the Muslim market stalls, where we bought fresh fruit and fresh bread for a few coins great value.

It may or not be Golgotha, in any event it is a bus terminal now, which is smelly and dirty. On the plus side there are market stalls selling lots of sweets.

I viewed this from within the gates of The Garden Tomb!! A place I went to almost daily while there for 3 months! A very special serene garden, places set apart to have a time to pray, take communion and ponder Golgotha and what transpired there over 2000 years ago.

This site is shown to you from the Garden area of the Garden Tomb. There is a Muslim Cemetery on top and a parking lot below. It does look like a skull and there is a tomb nearby.
