“Greatest free attraction in the city”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 31, 2014

Rockefeller museum was the first museum of archeology. It exhibits a great collection of ancient artefacts including glasswork, jewellery, Roman coins, and actual bones from an ancient burial, as well as a beautiful court with a large fountain which is great for quiet contemplation and reflection. In the museum, take a picture of the fountain, but position yourself so as to have your reflection in one of the mirror panels in the middle, then you can ask your friends to find you in the photo, very neat!
Did I already mention that it is one of the rare free attractions in the city.

Rockefeller Museum in Jerusalem is a beautiful building not far from Damascus gate. Very interesting collection of prehistoric artifacts, some great historical pieces, many examples of ceramics, etc...

“Wonderful building in Arab E Jerusalem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

Interesting artifacts including some very old skeletons as well as pottery and carvings. A little of this and that presented sort of chronologically. Beautiful stuff from Hishams palace. Kind of an old fashioned museum but you have time to contemplate. A woman alone might want to take a cab though there are buses I think the 2 from w. Jerusalem. Not far fromdsmascus gate
