“The place where it all happens!!!”
Reviewed August 18, 2012

From a architectural stand point this is a pretty impressive sight, a very modern building made to fit in to a very ancient city and very well done I might add.
I can only imagine the discussions and debates about world politics and local politics held here but it is well worth coming to see when in Jerusalem!
Avoid Saturdays as most of the city is closed for business!

“Interesting one-hour free visit”
Reviewed August 1, 2012

We enjoyed this free guided one-hour visit.
Two main subjects:
- the assembly itself, and how works the israelian democracy
-Chagall 's chefs d oeuvre
Our kids (5 &9) were keen on Chagall's

Check on the Internet the days and hours of guided visit in your language.

Two more things you have know:

1 Inside the knesset there are cheap and nice cafeterias. Despite if your visit is at 1 and you plan to come at 12 in order to have lunch before the visit, the chomer (guard) at the intrance may refuse you the entry.

2 it is really COLD inside the knesset. You NEED a sweat shirt or pull over

“We took the free guided tour”
Reviewed July 31, 2012

It was a great tour and very educational. We are pleasantly surprised to know how easy it is to get into the Knesset without prior reservation to join this tour. I think this tour is offered on Thursdays and Sundays.

“Not much to see from the outside”
Reviewed July 28, 2012

A lot of recent history I'm sure but from the outside it just looks like a big concrete structure from the 70s. More interesting is the giant Menorah replica across the street from the main entrance.

“Not inspiring.”
Reviewed July 17, 2012

Good for a driveby, but no more. Not particularly uplifting, even for poli-sci majors. No food options. The alternatives put this low on the list
