“Beautiful crusader church”

Beautiful church, echos. Sing here and listen to the echos. The flower gardens around the church are also very beautiful. Nice spot for reflection and for taking pictures.

My friend and I sang the Schubert Ave Maria here and felt like we were singing with a million angels. Stunning.

“Beautiful Church within the walls of the old city”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013

This Church is beautiful and peaceful. Inside the church, you can pray, light a candle and admire the art and architecture of the church. Acoustics inside the church is excellent. Overall is an amazing church not to be missed.

“My Favorite Church on the Holy Land Tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 3, 2013

This is a very peaceful church with astounding acoustics. The architecture is beautiful and the decor is simple which keeps your focus where is should be :) The gardens outside the church are well kept and inviting. It's located right next to the supposed site of the Pool of Bethesda. One of my favorite stops on the tour.

“Crusader Church”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 27, 2013

The Church of St. Anne and the property are well worth a visit. There are ruins from the time of Christ to the 4th Century. The Church itself was built by Crusaders in the 12th Century. It has a calming, lovely feeling. My friend and I were fortunate to be in the Church with an Armenian group whose voices carried into the ceiling which brought goosebumps. The Church is a wonderful example of Romanesque architecture, simple and inviting. The gardens are beautifully kept. The entire area brings calm!
