Owner description: Built in honor of Anne (Hannah), the mother of Mary, this 12th-century church is one of the finest examples of Crusader architecture in Israel.

The outside of the church brings you to a spiritual mood. The trees and blooming plants are beautful. Once inside the church, you can light a candle, pray, or sit and admire the church. The sound within the church is amazing. You can hear someone talk in a regular voice and be in the back. We were treated to a baratone solo. When John sang, you could hear him so clear and when he stopped the silence was there too.

I have spent a lifetime in and out of cathedrals and love all kinds of music in such amazing spaces, but I was taken aback by the acoustics of St Anne's which were far beyond expectations. Definitely worth not just visiting but going to visit.

The church is beautful and the acoustics are amazing. Several groups sang when we were there and it will bring tears to your eyes. It was next to the Pool of Bethesda and was easily accessible. They also had good bathrooms, that were nice after walking around all day.
