“A wonderful place to visit”
Reviewed October 27, 2012

This church is at the far end of the Via Dolorosa and does not seem to get as many touring groups which is good! The Church has wonderful acoustics and groups come to sing there. It also has very interesting Roman ruins in the grounds. There is a small charge fornentry.

“Sound effects are beautiful”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

The building itself is nice, but the remarkable and noteworthy thing about this church is its sound effects, make sure you are there while others are there and folk are singing, the effects are beautiful

“beautiful place”
Reviewed October 13, 2012

a beautiful church, I guess that's the one with one of world's best acoustics. Very nice and interesting ruins behind it - don't miss it as you may simply not notice they're there. Go down and enjoy every step of them, going down deep into the ancient history. a very lovely view in the cistern room - a deceptive reflection on the surface!

Reviewed October 1, 2012

Unlike alot of religious and dark places in the city, this place is bright. Very nice to just sit here during the day time and take it all in,
