We hired a private guide as we were not able to visit during their normal opening time. This is an area that a serves historical turning point in the Six Day War. The building houses a great video/3-D exhibit which explains the timeline of events leading up to and during the war. The outside portion remains very intact and original to the area as it was when it was a battlefield. The trenches and underground bunker offer more information and artifacts. A must see for those interested in learning about the Six Day War.

this is really a great museum, a battle spot during the six day war - lots of photos and exhibits and you can also run thru the trenches etc - for some reason this museum is often overloooked

This park/museum/memorial is at the site of one of the major battles for the reunification of Jerusalem that took place during the 1967 Six-Day War. Kids and teens will love roaming through the battle trenches and the interactive museum and permanent exhibits are educational and interesting. The park is located close to a Light Rail stop at the northern part of the city. Lots of free parking too and nice picnic grounds.
