This museum should be visited by all. It is a memorial of the Holocaust and contains survivor testimonials, personal belongings of victims and dramatic video footage. The Children's Memorial will make you cry but the beautiful garden sculptures will give you hope.

No visit to Israel and Jerusalem is complete without visiting Yad Vashem, as it is a major essence of the Jewish people.
While there are quite a few good Holocaust museums around the world, I think Yad Vashem is the best, as it includes so many exhibits, testimonies and yes – atmosphere – it might become overwhelming for some.
While a visit to this museum would definitely depress you, I think each tourist in Israel needs to visit this horrible place, if only to understand what Israelis mean when they say "Never again!".
Don't miss this place.

If you're in Jerusalem, please visit here. The memorials are beautiful and moving. The museum will have a lot of people, so be patient and go at your own pace.

Title says it all...this place is a must-see. I have seen it multiple times and it never fails to touch my core. If not for my ancestors leaving Eastern Europe just in time, it would be the story of ME!

This museum never ceases to amaze me. Every time you visit you leave in awe of the solemn atmosphere they have been able to create out of such horrible tragedy
