This show is a great finish to a day of touring Jerusalem and learning about it's history. I went there at a friend's recommendation. That recommendation stated to visit the Museum first and then go to the show. However, I did not make it to the museum on time as the whole trip was a last-minute decision (it is easy to do it from Tel Aviv) and ended up going to the show first. It helped to know the history of Jerusalem, but even if you don't the show is a fine piece of motion picture and animation combined artwork projected over the walls of the Citadel. It will be a highlight of your day if you choose to go.
Order online a combined ticket to see the museum and the show. The show was full so try to book in advance. Best seats are in the middle 1 row before the last one and are assigned (or not) on first come, first serve manner. No photos were allowed. Get a timeline for your reference that is given out at the entrance. If you arrive early there is a very small romantic park with a fountain where you can wait, but keep in mind there is not too many places available to seat comfortably. The show is under an open sky, so beware of the weather forecast - it lightly rained when we went in September, but it wasn't cancelled.
