“Sad Trees with a Story”
Reviewed January 5, 2013

Didn't like coach tours and enclosing of trees but if you go early or probably late on you might miss the package tours!

“Gethsemane”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

The tiny fenced 'garden' you get to visit is lovely - the trees are SO old and venerable - with a splendid church alongside. The garden, in antiquity, covered a huge area that has since been developed and built on.

“A must see for Christians.”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

It is fenced off, but still holds a profound reverence for Christians. While simple and small the old olive trees seem to hold thousands of years of history in their gnarled branches, and according to many they are thousands of years old and are living monuments to events that shape our world.

Beautiful view, full of olive trees. Can almost see Jesus walking through here. Do Not miss! Only takes a few minutes.

“The Real Agony in the Garden”
Reviewed December 25, 2012

This was my favorite. The stone where Christ prayed and the 3,000 year old olive trees made this tour so worthwhile. I related
to David when the treees began and to Christ when they stood there for Him and now when they continued the message for me.
I made a special lesson for the kids back home with holy cards
and the leaves from the trees. They were so impressed many used them by their bedside for daily prayers.
