“Good choice of gifts”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 22, 2013

The street has both expensive and inexpensive items to buy; it also has many cafes. i had a tuna pizza slice at the Big Apple that turned out to be surprisingly good. The negative is that there is almost no parking in the area.

“Always Fun... especially late.”

A good feel for Israeli life when you get down to this road... at 11:30 pm! A walking path full of shops and often times street performers.

Busy mall in summer after sabbath finishes. Moshiko falafel and frozen yoghurt attract hordes of youngsters

“Touristy in the best positive sense of the term!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 24, 2012

I would perhaps not even see this part of Jerusalem if I was not accompanied by my step-daughter. After a few days she finally got fed up with history and religion of the Old City, and demanded that we spend a couple of evenings in a more modern and festive part of the town. Must admit, these were more than lovely evenings! Street vendors, street music, open-air cafes, friendly and colorful crowd, lovely scenery - all immersed in an inimitable aura of this unique city - it was a lot of fun! Definitely recommended to anyone who wants to enjoy Jerusalem at it's liveliest.

We enjoyed walking along Ben Yehuda Street but did not find anything really special about it. Lots of shops and restaurants.
