Beautiful, reflective, prayerful, meditative atmosphere for the Christian tourist. This is the alternative site of Jesus' crucifixion and burial and is run by a Christian non-denominational charitable trust based in the UK. It has cliffs that look like a skull, and a garden with a carved out tomb. There are challenges to the claims the site makes, but it has become a popular pilgrimage place among Protestants. You can sit here in quiet, meditate and pray amid the beauty. Whether or not this is 'the' site Jesus was buried, it is well worth a visit just to enjoy the beauty and to consider the sacrifice Jesus made for all of us.
