A visit to the Old City will leave you feeling like you've gone back in time. The vendors will jostle to sell you a whole range of souvenirs but the sense of occasion drowns this out

Via Dolorosa (the zigzaggy alley venue commemorating the first 8 Stations of the Cross) is a major Christian pilgrim destination, and it is a shame Via Dolorosa is so commercialized with stalls (shops) making such a holy site so worldly.

If you like old markets / souks, bartering and the good fun of such places, you'll enjoy this.
Not forgetting, of course, the Via Dolorosa.

Unforgettable. The history, the heroism, the fighting, the openness now. The Old City of Jerusalem, is now open for all to see. That, it iself, is a blessing.

There is no place like it on Earth, where three religions link up to have Jerusalem as their epicenter is, well, divine.

Visit Israel, see Jerusalem, witness history yet unfolded.
