“The best breakfast in Jerusalem, one of the best anywhere.”
Reviewed March 27, 2013

You must book, especially Saturday morning where everything is closed in the City, This beautiful location and scenery is second to none in the world. The food definitely does justice to the location too. The couple's brunch special is served to your table. Eggs served Benedict or Omlette of choice. If the weather allows, insist sitting on the roof balcony.

“The best verandah view in Israel”
Reviewed March 25, 2013

I have been to this beautiful ein kerem restaurant many times and it is always top of my list for a beautiful evening out. The sunset into the judean hills is fabulous while eating the best food in Jerusalem. Service is impeccable, great wine selection .

“Great food and service in a tranquil setting”
Reviewed March 24, 2013

This restaurant is located next to Mary's spring in Ein Kerem, a quiet corner of Jerusalem near the Hadassah Hospital. The food was delicious and imaginative. We had the tomato salad, which features three types of cherry tomatoes, onions, herbs, and white cheese in a delicious vinaigrette. Also a cold appetizer with tomatoes and calamari in a tahini sauce. The oxtails with couscous are tender and delicious. Another person in our party had the steak. Another had the fish kebab, which comes in pita pockets like felafel. The steak was just average, but the fish tacos were exceptional. We also ordered the Sacher torte, which very generous servings. It was also superb. The rooftop overlooks the green ravine and there is no traffic noise. Parking is a challenge. Service was attentive and pleasant and the server spoke fluent English. It is not cheap: four people with drinks and dessert came to about 800 NIS including the tip.

“Special Place and Great Food”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

We came to Ein Kerem for dinner at the Brasserie on our first trip to Israel over a year ago. The food was great, in fact it was the best meal we had in Jerusalem. By the time I returned to Israel, my friend had moved to Ein Kerem so we visited the Brasserie often. When it was cold or rainy we love to sit in the room with the big fireplace. Other nights we would sit at the bar. I loved everything from the hamburger to the steak, and all the fish dishes. I especially loved the desserts. I have included a picture of one. The wine list is great and if you cannot make up your mind, they will recommend a wine. In fact we don't select a wine anymore, we just say red or white. We have never been disappointed. We now feel like we have made new friends. I am looking forward to seeing what is on the menu on my next visit in a few months.
