“A spiritual experience”
Reviewed October 28, 2012 via mobile

I am a Christian that was deeply touched by the Western or Wailing Wall. Part of the experience is the living breathing faith of the Jewish people that keeps this tradition alive. I felt honored to be able to join in the experience and offer my praise, thanks and requests for guidance. The Spirit of God is palpable in this place.

“The focus of spiritual power”
Reviewed October 27, 2012

Visiting the wall gives you a feeling for the conflict of the Muslim world verses the JEWISH world. People are awed by the Wall which was the base of the great jewish temple that was torn down my the Romans and Muslim. On top the the TEMPLE Mount now sits the two MUSLIM Masques. and their minuets. The security is intense and the ultra-Orthodox jewish present prevents women from going to the main part of the wall.

“Kotel”
Reviewed October 26, 2012

We love the Kotel! It is a very special place for those who come here to pray. It is sacred ground since this is part of the wall that remains from the second temple. It is also where the third temple will one day be rebuilt. You feel as though your prayers are heard the best from here.

“Impressive place where people pray and celebrate God”
Reviewed October 26, 2012

It is not easy to describe this place in words, it is simply very Holy. Men and women are seperated here. Men who are really interested in religion should not forget to also visit the rooms that are on the left hand side of the Square. See the Thora here, it is very interesting to feel the atmosphere and see people pray
Best moment to visit is at the beginning of Sabbath. People do celebrate this moment in a very warm and impressive way

“western wall and TUNNELS”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

The Western or Wailing Wall is heavy with history, but add to the immensity of the visit with a tour of the tunnels beneath the western wall and seeing the immensity of the work done by King Herod 2000 years ago. It is mindboggling and seeing it is almost still too much to believe.
