Where is customer service to deliver on a promise. Not for the Inbal. So disappointed that we were promised dinner at Sophia restaurant & fruit basket upon booking. The site even has the restaurant menu which we reviewed ahead . The Restaurant is closed so there’s only a Sophia cafe for light snacks & pizza. It will later be a steak house in May. Our Fruit basket was really warm fruit slices that sat out all day in room. Hotel to date has been unresponsive. Inescusable to promote such lies.

Dear Barbara R,

We want to take this opportunity and deeply thank you for staying with us and looking forward to welcoming you as our guest once again in the future.
Your feedback allow us to seek for improvement every day and we apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during your last stay.
Since a while ago we have announced the close of the Sofia Restaurant and unfortunately this was not communicated properly to you.

We are building a new concept Steakhouse which we are sure will contribute to the total overall experience of our guests alongside with our new premium rooms and a newly lobby.

Best Regards,
Sharon Dayan

We just spent two nights at the Inbal. Rahel, at the concierge desk, was SO helpful and did something for us that no hotel person has ever done for us in our 50 plus years of traveling! Our flight was leaving at 1:00AM. Rahel gave us a late check out until 9PM....We were and are amazed. The Inbal is a very plush hotel in a wonderful location, only a block or so from both the president and the prime ministers' homes...also very close to train station and mamila mall....We loved it, from the bounteous breakfast buffet to the lovely huge room. By the way, I am making all these comments DESPITE the fact that the hotel is undergoing renovations. The renovations caused no disruptions for us

Dear Camegirl,

Thank you so very much for your beautiful review!
Your lovely compliments for Rahel, our great receptionist, has have once again proven to be worthy!
It is always wonderful to hear that you enjoyed your staying, from 'bounteous breakfast buffet to the lovely room' as you kindly mentioned.
The excellent location is indeed mentioned many times as a significant advantage from our kind guests.
It was our pleasure to host you and we certainly hope to welcome you back once our expansion project is completed.
Warm wishes,

A major renovation which is adding two floors, many balconies, and suites is underway and promised to end by Passover. This has caused some dislocation of the lobby and lounge but the staff has made up for any inconvenience by going out of their way to provide service in every way. Breakfasts still outstanding and there has been no diminution of the outdoor pool covered by a bubble in winter.

Room tip: Stay away from the side where construction is ongoing

Location is great with easy access to everywhere in Jerusalem, and walking distance from the Holy sites and new chic areas. The hotel is undergoing construction and there is a minimal difficulty for those who need the underground parking garage; some of the hotel is being worked on but well walled off, both physically and aesthetically. The Sabbath meals were outstanding and the hotel staff were very giving of their time and advice.

Overall the hotel wasn’t as friendly as other places I have travelled too, the room was good, breakfast was ok, facilities were great and the night house keeping was the most kindest and friendliest employee in the hotel. The restaurant facilities were ok but there are better restaurants around the corner who are extremely welcoming and great food for a reasonable price. Close to the old city.
