So many things were wrong with the Inbal.
1. Booked through Amex- "executive room"- old, looks like it was stuck in 1985. I understand its high tourist week (Christmas) but still... - brown, orange and green color scheme is not cute. Bathrooms are GROSS. Old shower curtain, outlets don't work, multiple lights blew out. Not cool at all.
2. Service SUCKS. Concierge gave me brochures to look at myself when I asked for info about tours. I'm sorry, but my google skills are better than this woman's brochure skills. Obviously didn't let us know about the student discount I could have gotten for my brother in law. Every SINGLE night the security/doorman/bell boys (??) stare at us and make nasty comments when we go through the wrong door. Why don't you tell us which one works instead. I'm a guest.
3. Shabbat dinner is expensive and doesn't include any wine. My waitresa tells me how much she hates living in Jerusalem. Besides that fact that I absolutely don't care, it's pretty bizarre to tell that to a tourist paying alot of money to visit here.
Bottom line: NOT RECOMMENDEDMore
