I'm Rabbi Haskel Lookstein, here for Pesach with 145 members and friends of the KJ family. Everything has been great! The seder, the other holiday meals, the accomodations, the ambience in the lobby and, of course, the coffee shop/restaurant. Most of all, the staff. They have a service mentality which says: "What can I do for you?" Nurit, George, Etti, Katerina, the people at the desk and all the waiters simply cannot do enough to make our stay truly special. Ccongratulations to the ownership, the management and the entire staff on making us feel: IT'S THE GREATEST!!!

Travelled with a tour group and we picked the Imbal from 5 choices. We were very glad we did. Room was very clean, with turn down service. I noticed some rooms were larger than others, but we were satisfied with our accomodations.
Air conditioning could have been colder, but we opened the window and received the nice fresh air.
Breakfast was very nice. WIde assortment of salads, fishes, fruit, omlettes, etc. Waiters kept circulating with coffee/tea.
Daily newspaper delivery.
Ate in Sophia restaurant on our lst nite. Fish dinner was excellent. Had our group dinner here too. Food was pleantiful and good. Loved the corned beef.
Ate in the lobby lounge on our last nite, since we only wanted a snack. I had the blini which were good and DH had bagel and lox.
I would recommend hotel

We were with a small group tour, stayed 5 days. Very expensive, not worth it. The breakfast buffet is huge, but nothing special. The lunch and dinner are very expensive, but nothing special, either. The place is crawling with staff, but when our internet didn't work, they sent -- over 5 days -- 3 different college kids to try to rectify the problems. None knew what to do. When we checked out, management didn't take responsibility for the poor service. The Inbal advertises itself as 5 stars. I'd give it 2.5, mostly because the rooms themselves are large and the location is good. But there are less expensive places nearby (like Prima Royale) which are a better bang for the buck.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments here on Tripadvisor, it is through comments from our guests that enable us to highlight areas for development and training.

May I start by expressing my dissapointment at hearing your comments; every effort is made to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction at all times so I was sorry to hear that this was not the case for you.
I have been sure to discuss this matter with our communications manager as since offering free wifi internet to our guests, it is important for this service to be immediately accessible to all our guests.

Moreover, your comments with regards to the buffets and food service are certainly not in keeping with the standards we strive to acheive, nor with other recent comments received by guests. I would be most interested to hear further details from you on marketing@inbalhotel.com so that we may investigate what was unsatisfactory this time.
I do thank you once again for highlighting your experiences and welcome you to be in touch directly so we may be able to discuss further.

For the time being, wishing you a very pleasant spring/Pesach season,
Ruth - PA to GM

The Inbal is certainly one of the best hotels in Jerusalem. It is located close to most of the important sites in Jerusalem yet it is in a quiet neighborhood. The hotel has an open feel to it with a beautiful courtyard and great views of the Old City. It is within walking distance or a short taxi ride to the best restaurants, shopping and to many of the historical sites and other sites of interest. The service is impeccable. Its staff is always willing to help with a smile and a great attitude. It is worthwhile paying a little bit extra to use the Executive Club. The food is fantastic, starting with the generous Israeli Breakfast all the way to the private catering facilities. Perhaps the best hotel food service in Jerusalem. Great free internet service. A truly outstanding stay!

Dear ViajeroEsq,

Rarely have we read such a well rounded, delightful review; a simple Thank you does not seem good enough.
Not only have you noticed the general ambiance and location of the hotel, but mention to the food and service is quite simply one of the best compliments you can give a hotel.
Reading your review was such a pleasure, your comments have been passed to the whole team - it is comments such as these that make the hard work all worthwhile; and since you decided to share them on such a public platform, it is an even bigger compliment.
The General Manager and myself would be delighted to thank you in person upon your next visit, please do be in touch with me on marketing@inbalhotel.com prior to your next stay.
For the time being, thank you once again and enjoy the upcoming sprin season,
regards,

We were in Jerusalem for a couple of days after a business trip in Jordan. We chose the Inbal Hotel as we wished to enjoy some time in a nice hotel with all the amenities before returning home. The Inbal is an extremely well run hotel with first class service. We stayed in a typical 4 star room on the seventh floor, which was roomy and comfortable. Larger and more expensive rooms are available but this more than met our requirements. The best part of the stay was the staff, who were uniformly helpful, courteous and professional. This was true at the front desk, the hotel restaurant and elsewhere. Among the best we have encountered.

The hotel's location is very good. Although not quite as close to the old city as some of its competitors, it is located within walking distance of major sites, shopping and restaurants.

This hotel is of particular interest to observant Jews seeking an upscale hotel experience but was just as welcoming and enjoyable for guests like ourselves who were there simply as tourists.

This was our second stay at the Inbal (we stayed last year at about the same time of year). Just as before, the hotel is very nice, well maintained, well located within about a 10 minute walk to the Jaffa Gate, and staff is attentive and efficient. But, unlike last year when we felt that the cuisine was very much lacking for a dairy establishment , this hotel has made great strides to improve the variety and taste of the menu items available (even on Shabbat). We found the food so much improved over our last stay that we actually looked forward to our breakfasts and dinners! Unlike our previous stay, the breakfast buffet was quite good, more varied and overall, excellent. We also ordered room service a couple of nights for dinner and were equally as pleased. Hats off to the Inbal for making such great strides in a short period of time.

Our room, like the last time, was an inner courtyard view. But, as we were on the top floor, we also had a wonderful view of the Dormition Abbey and particularly enjoyed hearing the bells ring each morning. Just as before the room was ample, but not large, yet comfortable. Also as before, we felt both safe and secure in this hotel.

I have only one negative comment about this hotel - our bathroom looked like it could use a bit of work - some of the caulking and fixtures looked worn.
