Hotel Prima Kings
Ranked #32 of 100 Hotels in Jerusalem
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed August 19, 2014

The Prima Kings hotel use to be for years an average hotel. But today the hotel is moving in the best direction. The new rooms are very confortable (the two upper floor) and the new lobby and bar is elegant. Of course they get the best location in Jerusalem and it is possible to walk from the hotel almost everywhere in town. The staff is always very helpful.

The only thing I can say it is central, the breakfast is amazing it is lacking in a pool, and rooftop. The bar cafe is expensive and the internet is only downstairs you have to pay extra if you want it in the rooms $10 a day.The sheets do not cover the single bed mattresses that was disgusting by my standards, no blankets unless you wanted to take out a cover from plastic bag that did not look so great, and the room was not so clean. My roomate had to ask twice for it to be cleaned again and than we had flies in it. If you want simple not great central to the synagod around the corner and the old city is 25 minutes or 30 minutes walk away. Drink tons of water hot.
Service was ok. We were with a large group of woman that stayed weeks of July 24-29th.

Room Tip: Tell them you want a room on a lower floor an elevator was not working and the other two elevators a...

I am a traveler and have been going to Jerusalem once a year for the past 15 years, always stayed in Prima King Hotel for my every trip to Jerusalem. I like to call it home away from home. All people, specially managers are very friendly and helpful. Fimi who is one of the managers in the hotel, is very thoughtful and kindly taking care of all guests with their needs, no matter it is your first time or you are a long time loyal guest. They are always there for you, rooms are clean and have view of old city. On my first time visit in Prima King, when was ready to leave, told them that how their hospitality made me to become their future guest and proved it by keep coming back for almost 15 years after. You must try it once, and never go anywhere else.
Best place to go and stay safe.

We stayed at the Prima Kings for four nights in Jerusalem. The hotel is pleasant and in a great location, and we had lovely balconies looking out at the city. Best of all was Shmulik, the concierge of the hotel, who could not have been nicer and more helpful. He recommended great restaurants, helped us find our way around, arrange for taxis, and generally made us very comfortable. It was such a pleasure to return there at the end of the day and be greeted by him with such warmth and kindness. It made the hotel feel like home. It's a great place to say and I'm sure we will be back.

Room Tip: Ask for a balcony!

Was on a short business trip to Israel and picked up this hotel after a great experience last May.
Again , everyone was so friendly
And willing to help with any thing you ask,(The marketing manger ,Orit even remembered me from my past visit with my wife! )
Great Israeli brakefast in a brand new dining room.
Like I mentioned before, the location is great - a few minutes to the old city and Mamila.
After the second time here I can certainly recommend this hotel .
I know that I will always use it In my future visits!

The rooms are tiny, the beds are awful, wifi is only free in the lobby, and one of the people in our group found bedbugs. The food was actually pretty good, but the food is the only good thing I can think of. Spend the extra money for a better hotel.
