In many ways the Prima Kings Hotel is a very nice property. It is centrally located within walking distance of the Old City and the Western Wall, among other things. I stayed in this hotel for five nights as a member of a tour group. Most members of my group had quite spacious rooms. Some even had outside balconies and decent views of the city. My room, however left a lot to be desired. As implied by the title of this review, the room was SMALL. I shared it with another memeber of my tour group and if he was sitting on the side of his bed--only one straight-backed chair in the room--I had to ask him to move so that I could get to the door to the bathroom. Once luggage was unpacked there was even less space. One literally had to walk sideways to move between the beds and the desk/dresser. Oh yes, then there was the view. We had a nice view of the roof of a lower part of the building, as well as an alley. I certainly wouldn't avoid this hotel entirely, but don't let them give you room # 508 or any of the rooms in the same corner of the building on other floors. The buffet meals they served were adequate, but nothing to brag about.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on an upper floor with a balcony. I'd even ask to see the room before taking it.

Stayed a Kings for 5 nights in February 2013. I asked for a room on the front of the hotel on the 3rd floor or higher with a balcony. Room was small as expected but then again you are spending most of your time running around so who cares how small the rooms are. Large enough for 2 people and acceptable beds. They never spend much money on high quality beds. The Israeli breakfast you hear about does not exist at the Kings. There are lots to choose from but nothing compared to the other hotels in the vicinity. The lobby is very small and again as a staging area its great and a good buy. The Kings is right next to the Great synagogue and a close walk location from the Western Wall. For Friday night walking back from the Western Wall it took about 35 minutes with a brisk walk. Walking from the Kings past the Great Synagogue and making the first left you are now in Rechavia and there are many great restaurants there as well as around the corner from the Kings. The Mamila mall is a 10 minute walk. Parking for the hotel is OK, but it is not a good idea to drive for locations purely in Jerusalem as traffic is very heavy. We had a GPS and because of a lot of construction it was inaccurate. Despite tyhe cold weather the rooms had sufficient heating.

Room Tip: Ask for room in front of building on Rambam Street only and with a porch. Try for higher rooms to av...

We stayed at the Prima Kings Jerusalem, four days mid-week. The service was excellent, we received the chocolates at the entrance to the rooms, the room was very clean and neat, everything was available across the street and super entertainment venues within 10 minutes from the hotel. Excellent restaurant on the lobby level of the hotel. And spacious banquet halls are arranged at the bottom. Hotel near many hiking areas, the Western Wall within walking distance. Hotel in an excellent location in the center of things. Highly recommended for families and couples who want to be in the city without spending too much time and money on travel from place to place.

Room Tip: There is a possibility the room next to the road but there is a view that I think is beautiful. And...

This hotel is conveniently located to the old wall and the American Embassy. The rooms are comfortable, clean and the staff is very accommodating. The hotel is also within walking distance of Ben Yuda street. This hotel is the best value for the money. The Shabbat meals are wonderful to share with friends and family. The breakfast is a must with a large variety of items which are delicious and plentiful.

Room Tip: Rooms near the elevator are noise with people coming and going.

Prima Kings Hotel in Jerusalem is great value for the money. I have stayed there before, and I will stay there again. The hotel is one of the older and more historic in the city and is very conveniently located in the centre of western Jerusalem. It is only a short walk to the Old City.
I found the rooms to be larger than some of the newer and more expensive hotels in the city. The staff are friendly and helpful. Though this is not a luxury hotel, it is clean and attractive in all the common areas as well as in the rooms. The breakfast has plenty of choices and is of good quality. The evening meal has a nice selection of hot and cold dishes. Shabbat meals are a pleasure to share with friends and family. This is a great place for travelers who want a nice, mid-priced hotel with a long history of hospitality to both tourists and Israelis.

Room Tip: The balcony side has a nicer view but is a bit noisier. The back of the hotel has no view but is qui...

This is my 3rd time staying at the Prima Kings on George Street. I had called them from Montreal to discuss my booking and extra accomodations in advance. From the first phone call, to when I arrived and throughout my 5 week stay, the staff was helpful, kind, pleasant, and bent over backwards to accomodate any request we had. Each time I stay at the Prima Kings, it is always a delight. I have recommended this hotel to my family and friends. The location is amazing, and the rooms are nice and bathrooms are modern and clean. The breakfasts are delicious and plentiful. You can be sure I will be back again.

Room Tip: Ask for Orit, she is so helpful and kind.

Just recently stayed at the Kings and was satisfied with my 3 nights there. Room was clean and had enough space, it had what most hotels would provide and a bonus is the hot water works straight away, not a common thing in this region of the world. If there was something I would like for them to improve is their hospitality, it might have been that they were busy, but the front desk staff were not very accommodating and friendly. Otherwise I was satisfied with the hotel, breakfast options are great and the guy who makes the omelettes was very welcoming.
