“great hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 20, 2012

I stayed in this hotel for about a week. It was very nice. They greeted us with drinks as we arrived and were very helpful. The food was good for breakfast and dinner and it was a close walk to Jaffa Gate and Ben Yehuda street. The area itself is fairly nice with diplomats and embassies close by. The rooms are kind of small but we were rarely in our room so it wasn't noticeable. I would stay here again!

We have been coming to Israel since 1995. Each time we come to Jerusalem the Prime Kings Hotel is our #1 choice. Why? You get the same great service every time, great location, the food is always good. Our room is always clean and comfortable. The Hotel recently added WIFI in the Lobby which is a big plus. The Mangement is the best. They have always taken care of anything that needed to be addressed. We recommend staying at the Prima Kings when visiting Jerusalem. Ron & Aliyanna Humphreys

We stayed here as part of a convention. The location is very convenient- a 10 minute walk to Ben Yehuda St and about 15 to Jaffa Gate. This is an older facility with many tour groups which can be chaotic in the morning. The free WiFi in the lobby was well used. There were many families for a religious holiday with children running around the lobby. Our room was small and the bathroom was also small. We returned after a 5 day tour and were upgraded to a slightly larger room with 2 windows and a larger bathroom with a window. The fresh air was lovely. Although we overlooked a parking lot, other friends felt the street-side rooms had too much traffic noise and relocated to the parking lot side.
I did have an issue with the air freshener that permeates the lobby, elevator and some rooms. It bothered my nose and throat and you should be aware of this if you have any type of allergy or breathing problem.
The breakfast is expansive and the food was fine. There is a supermarket across the street.

Room Tip: We stayed 3 nights in the smaller room but it really is too small. This hotel is downtown so there i...

DO NOT STAY HERE. THERE IS NOTHING TO RECOMMEND ABOUT THIS HOTEL Rooms are small and terribly furnished. When my wife and showered the water ran down the tiles onto the floor. There was a terrible odor in the bathroom. Management was not concerned and I believe that they were previously aware of the problem. We had to change rooms and they did not offer to assist us in moving our luggage. Housekeeping did not clean the room properly [did not vaccum]. Did not replace tissues and lotions when finished.

Room Tip: if U insist on staying in this hotel, room 124 is large

Great location. 5mins walk into the city centre. 15mins from central bus station & Mahane Yehuda Market which is a must do! The Old city is about a 20mins walk away. Rooms were big and clean with a nice balcony. I'd advise you to tip the concierge generously as we got a slammed door on the way out for our small donation.
We missed breakfast so can't comment there.
Fyi-May seem obvious but you're expected to dress a little modestly when walking around Jerusalem.

The hotel is close to large and very busy streets. Sleeping is very difficult. we were a group of ten people, after one horrible night we change for another hotel.
People were nice and comprehensive, but we were here for working, it wasn't possible to stay.

We were totally impressed with the wonderful service from the front desk to the housekeepers and the waiters. We initially found this hotel after wandering around and not finding space in other hotels nearby. Our original booking to another hotel nearby did not materialize because of a misunderstanding, so we were lucky to find space in Prima Kings hotel.
The hotel met the expectations we had, the rooms were clean, the staff made sure our requests were met and the food was also nice. In addition, the central location of the hotel allowed us to visit the old city and Jerusalem's famous market all by foot.

Room Tip: Rooms with geranium balcony for a sunny wake up.
