We arrived with an extremely large group and had the the blessing of staying in a room overlooking the "old city". I had contacted the hotle before we left and requested it....so we were lucky. The room was a good size but by my standards could have been cleaner. (I'm a Marriott person). The bathroom was large and the only problem we had was water leaked from under the shower door so we had to keep a towel wedged in there. The bed was very comfortable and we had plenty of pillows. Others in our group had different complaints. Some had heat issues, some had no hot water pots to make coffee, not enough towels, and some had no windows! (I couldn't even imagine that!). I must say that the hotel did do an excellent job when it came to feeding us all at the same time and the food and desserts were excellent. They only serve coffee at breakfast but should learn that Americans like coffee with their dinner as well. I found the front desk to be overwhelmed at times and short tempered...but also saw other guests treat them rudely which was not necessary. The hotel is in a good location if you're on a tour or want to take a taxi. I wouldn't walk too far....things are farther away than they look. All in all...I would recommend this hotel if you can get a room on the upper floors. For myself I think I would want to stay closer to the "old city" next time so we can do mor exploring during free time.
