Interesting, beautiful, service-minded staff, amazing swimming-pool area, unique breakfast buffet, spectacular terrace and view, as well as superb comfort makes me want to return as soon as possible! Free wi-fi in the lobby area makes life a little easier, and mingling with other addicts more fun. Contact-making abound!

Probably the best, but didnt wow us. Felt that everything was just a little impersonal. I disliked the ultra small rooms, however, it was nice to have a small balcony. Def worth the upgrade to the old city views.
Just one of those hotels you leave and think .... that was not good value for money. Like everything in Israel, it was just so expensive. Wont be returning.

Room Tip: Deluxe Old City View

This hotel is historically considered the most prestigious hotel in Jerusalem. The history, its prime location (overlooking the walls of the old city) and the impressive gallery of world leaders (political, arts and science) that visited the hotel in unparalleled. The public areas are also very impressive and have an "old world" type of atmosphere.
However, from all other aspects this hotel is like an an average 4-5 hotel in western cities- i.e. nothing exceptional about in-room amenities, and the food is in the regular Israeli hotels standarts.
Fir the price you pay, I expected is to excel on those aspects too.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the old city walls (east room) are a must. Rooms overlooking the King David stre...

The King David is a very beautiful, special hotel rich in history, where you feel transported back in time. The rooms have been renovated since we were there 5 years ago and they are both lovely and tasteful. They are extremely large, with high ceilings and are beautifully appointed. The service and food are exceptional, especially the buffet breakfast. All of the hotel staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming.

Room Tip: We loved our rooms on the first floor (which is really the 2nd floor) facing the Old City because of...

The King David Hotel in Jerusalem, Israel is old world luxury with top notch service. The breakfast buffet is sumptuous. The view of the Old City of Jerusalem is magnificent. The pool, grounds & tennis courts are very well kept. The lobby & terrace spell out old world elegance & you just never know what dignitary you may see in the lobby sipping tea with a fellow dignitary!!

Lived up to my expectations with good food and excellent service; location was wonderful. The mall next door offered shopping and more restaurants. The spa was wonderful and the staff eager to serve. All in all, it was a wonderful retreat from sightseeing.

Just the perfect location and style of where one needs to be to have the full experience of Jerusalem and Israel! We stay there at least once a year and find the staff so accommodating! They are always trying to go out of the way to make things better for us

Room Tip: Old city view is the way to go!
