We traveled in a group of sixteen. The hotel is immaculate. The staff are attentive and wonderful with little ones. In one day, they remembered that my mother in law liked apple juice and got her some at each meal. Every day there is a little treat waiting for you upon return to your room. The only criticism would be that the bathroom has only a small hairdryer and no outlets. It is a fire code there. This hotel is really everything it holds itself out to be.

If you are looking for the ultimate experience- look no further. The hotel itself is living history. The staff are friendly and helpful. The view of the old city from our room was specutacular. The rooms are spacious and newly rennovated. The hotel is large enough that one can relax yet it feels warm and homely. Once you have stayed here, you definately will be back!

Not only is the King David historic, beautiful and well located -- the service is superb. As part of a group we had several meals there and they really know how to take care of their guests. Understated elegance -- perhaps that's a good description. And the morning buffets are fabulous (especially is like soked fishes, cheeses, middle eastern veggies, etc.).

Rooms are nice -- not spectacular -- and most have nice views of valleys and mountains around Jerusalem. ONly problem I had was with the internet provider -- they farm this out to an outside firm (Smart-net) which is unreasonably expensive and does a poor job, to boot. But this is not enough for me to take the King David off my 5-star perch. (Wish I could say the same about its sister hotel, the Dan Hotel, in Tel Aviv -- that's a different review).

Ultra luxurious hotel. Beautiful rooms, awesome pool, and excellent service. The buffet breakfast was great and the patio overlooking the pool was a great place for an evening nosh before going to sleep. Very expensive rates however we went on a tour and upgraded to the luxury hotels which was very reasonable.

Room Tip: Ask for the pool side (back of the hotel) much nicer than the front which faces a street.
