We stayed for 5 nights using my priority club reward points. I am a platinum member and that entitles me to upgrades within priority choice hotels. This hotel however offered no upgrade and did not even include the club lounge service. As opposed to the Renaissance in Tel Aviv, which I used Marriott rewards points for my stay and am a gold member. They upgraded my room, gave me full club access and also included free breakfast both days me and my wife stayed. That right there shows that Crown Plaza is in a much lower category of hotel.
The Crown Plaza front desk staff was at times inadequate. It did seem that they were understaffed and could not manage all their guest's needs. The house keeping staff did a good job for us and was prompt. Room appeared clean and we had no issue with noise.
Overall, I would not stay here again, even with reward points. Too bad Marriott did not have a location in Jerusalem. I would get a hotel closer to the old city and hope the service was better.More
