A group of us physicians went to Israel for a medical conference and tours of various sites including Jerusalem, Sea of Galilee/Tiberius, Cesarea, Nazareth, Haifa and the Dead Sea. Our tour guide: Asher Dank was exceptional. Patient, informative and made our trip very meaningful given the energy that he put in by explaining a lot of things and answering our questions.

My wife and I spent two weeks touring Israel with Keshet tours. The experience was fantastic. The sites will take years to process, the people were wonderful and the food fantastic. Have eaten the best fresh fruits of a lifetime and must acknowledge I have become Humus dependent. The country is a combination of opposites--- old and new, religious and secular, technologically advanced and primitive, dry and humid, inspiring and sad, funny and serious. I was especially impressed with the people who were helpful and seemed sincerely interested in visitors enjoying their country. Describing Israel will always be inadequate , you must visit it.

Our trip to Israel was with 2 families, 2 sixteen year olds and 2 twenty four year olds. Everyday we were met with Jonathan's enthusiasm, knowledge and passion who made the sites and history of Israel come alive. Jonathan is an American who served in the IDF, and received his master's at the hebrew university. Because of his experiences, he was able to captivate the teenagers and young adults so that they embraced their culture and wanted to come back again to Israel. He knew how to answer all our questions and integrate history and present day events Jonathan was able adjust our trip to accommodate the variety of interests we had as a group, and he did it with ease. We thoroughly enjoyed spending every day with Jonathan and would not hesitate to use him again or to recommend him to everyone.

Jerusalem is one of the nicest cities in layout and beauty. The Old City can be confusing at times but it is worth exploring for at least two days. Once you took in all the religious sites, you should explore the three different religious groups living and working side by side.
If there is an tension between them, it is not evident to the visitor. The are very helpful to one another and to the tourist who they depend on for their existence.
You can drive there without a problem but the parking is very difficult to find during different times of the day and the week as well. It is best if your hotel has a shuttle bus that can take you and pick you up as well.
The tourist office is a must stop to get a city map of the Old City. Do not waste your money on purchasing one, they are almost the same and the free one has lots of information for the ones who what to do it on their own.

Every one should visit Israel. It is truely amazing to see the land that Moses David Jesus walked. To see the mountains that Caleb concoured. The sea Jesus walked on, sail in a boat and feel His presence and then listen and sing to His praises songs whilsts floating on the same water He walked on.My heart was filled with Joy.Jersalem with all its walls and gates, the Jewish quater and the bread selling from the market places. To taste the food has cost me inches. The Jews from around the world have returned and done what has never been done before, built a nation from nothing, and what a mighty nation it is. Every one welcomes you and asked you to return "Come and live with us" Thank you for coming, thank you for supporting us. Tell people at home Thank you". Never again will they be left alone. The world must stand by these people, they are Gods chosen and we are grafted in. Long may the land of Yoshua grow and prosper.
