“The only place open on Saturday in the German Colony...”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

Nice breakfast, easygoing. You can enjoy the experience even more if you watch a movie in Smadar cinema located there. The only thing we didnt like was the bread they served with the meal - didnt quite go with the eggs-salad concept...

“Fun funky place”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

This is a cafe and restaurant combined with an old-fashioned movie theater.

The best parts are this combination and that is open on Saturdays which is rare in Jerusalem.

A really friendly unhurried place with perfectly fine food with choices for everyone.

This is not a destination restaurant for a fine meal. But a great place to meet friends, see a movie and stay for a bite!

I have to confess that we sat chatting at the table and even though was busy there was no pressure to leave.

“Medicore food VERY small portions for high prices”
Reviewed May 20, 2013

This is a very nice place which makes you want to eat in before/after the movie.
HOWEVER, the dishes are way too small for the prices you pay and food is no special.
If you are not lazy, get out of the venue to the busy crossing street and find many more options that would give you a better value.

“A small treasure in the middle of the german colony”
Reviewed February 4, 2013

Ive been in most of the cafes on Emek Refaim and I nearly missed this one. On saturday I was dying to have a cup of coffee and some breakfast, knowing that most places are closed I asked my hostess if there is an open cafe. She recommended I try this place. It was love in first sight!!! The music was excellent and the staff were more than welcoming. I ordered breakfast and got a typical yet delicious israeli meal. Ended up coming here every day! Very friendly and welcoming place!
