We are very happy we could have stayed for the third time in House57
For my husband and me it was like to be at home. The breakfasts were very good and the view over Jerusalem was wonderful. I like also that there is air conditioning. The area is very interesting with the proximity to the university. The connections with the rest of the city of Jerusalem are excellent. Now there is even a new tramway. I definitely recommend House57!

House 57 is a small family hotel. We like this type of hotels better than big chains. The owners were very welcoming, and attending. We stayed at room #7, which has a small gallery for the kids, and gives more space downstairs. The room was spotless. The environment is very quiet, with good connection of the light train to all of Jerusalem, and if you travel by car, with lots of free parking. Overall, a very nice and comfortable stay.

Room Tip: room #7 comes with gallery and balcony. big plus.

This is a great place to stay if you don't mind being a bit out of the old city. The light rail, walking, or taxis are easy to get to major sites. Room 7 is much more spacious and has a lovely view, but all the rooms come with the excellent hospitality of Nir and Akram. Room 3 bathroom was just renovated beautifully. Nir and Akram helped in so many ways providing maps and recommendations, pick-up from airport, helping obtain phone Sim cards, showing us the laundromat, great bakeries, etc. Small kitchen and convenient grocery store make it easy to dine in, or several simple restaurants very close by provide variety. Breakfast was fresh and tasty and the neighborhood location and small B & B was a much more personal way to spend our week in Jerusalem. Excellent value, highly recommended.

Room Tip: Room 7 is best and worth the difference in price even for only two people. Change dates if necessary to secure this room!

We used House 57 as a base for exploring Jerusalem with a family of four and it exceeded our expectations. The location is great because of its proximity to the light rail station which is only a 5+ minute walk from the house in a quiet neighborhood. The best part is our host Nir with his right hand man Akram. Both are very helpful with figuring out what are good things to explore based on your interests in the city. We had an interest to visit Masada and watch the sunrise and their help in accomplishing this made the day trip special. Morning breakfast time spent around the table with Nir, talking was another great part of our stay as well. They both were the main reason that our stay in Jerusalem was one of the highlights of our trip. We highly recommend House 57!
