“Pleasantly surprised with the originality of the menu”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2014

Wow, what a find! I even not hoped to find real home made and original food in Jerusalem. This restaurant pleasantly surprised me with variety of the dishes and homemade quality. From the starters to the main course - everything was tasty and good looking. Especially loved ravioli with meat under the sweet sauce, I never tried such a harmonic bouquet of tastes.

“Paradiso in Jerusalem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2014

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Jerusalem and a great place for a Friday night meal (Paradiso was one of the very few restaurants that have always served food ove Friday and Saturday). The food is an interesting fusion between mediterranean and French, with touches of the traditional Rumanian kitchen, and is always good. During the week you'll also be served their excellent home made bread, and you can bring your own wine and be charged around 40 NIS for what's called "Korking fee". Service is friendly, although - like many other places in the city - there is a constant turnover of staff, and there is a very pleasant ambiance to the place. Paradiso is very conveniently located near several hotels in the King David area, close to the LIberty Bell Park and the The First Station compound. One recommendation - if you're planninb to come ove Friday-Saturday, reservations are a must, and ask not to be seated next to the swinging doors of the toilets in the back.
Highly recommended for everybody.

“An interesting menu”

If you are in the area, you can get a good meal at a reasonable price. There are some interesting items on the menu. Try the goose leg.

“Surprisingly Good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 14, 2014

This is a nice place a bit tucked away, or not as visible as the other restaurants nearby. The service is good, waitress helpful and pleasant. The food pretty good as well, very tasty. We went for lunch & we will certainly go back for lunch anyway.

“A must for your visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 13, 2014

After being in Jerusalem for a week we came across this fabulous place. Great food and service...it's not a kosher place but it's great. We've eaten at it three times and would again if we stayed more days.
