The Austrian Hospice has a nice garden to relax, with expensive coffee with microwave heated apple strudel (definitely not home made taste). Yet t's the only place I know in Jerusalem old city for Cappuchino, open at late hours... The best part is the view from the Hospice roof: Mount of Temple is with a hand reach! This view is a must!!!

An unexpected oasis in the midst of the Old City. We stopped in for some Schnitzel and beer and relaxed as the sun set in the beer garden. Got to the roof for some excellent views of the Old City.

Café and Strudel are not "coffee and cake". Its where you eat them, how they are served and what's around you
One cannot imagine what lies beyond the brown disagreeable door
The café is v. good. The cakes and cream are even better and there is also some good simple, European food.
All in reasonable prices
But the location is what makes this place worth visiting. In the middle of the old city, which is so Mediterranean, you get a piece of old, 1860 Europe. It's quite, cool, respectful and beautiful.
I think it’s a "don't miss" pleasure for anyone who spends more than one day in Jerusalem.
There is also a small hotel which seems lovely

Surprising that what it is. How does it feel to move suddenly from Arab market to an Island of Autria . Great atmosphere coffee house with Shtrudel and similat treats and a nice view on Jerusalem.

Amazing view of everything, hidden right in the heart of the old city. Along the via Delarosa. 360 degree view of the city.
