“Kosher fine dining .. But missing polish”
Reviewed December 28, 2013

The food here was very very good.. I had a duck liver pâté with marinaded peaches... Oh it was delicious .. Then followed by entrecôte in redctupion of red wine sauce that was very good. My wife had chichen breast with polenta that too was delicious and our son devoured the veal tartare . So for food it was 9 out of 10'. BUT .. Service ,,,although friendly did not match the fine dining experience. It was more like the local shwarma restaurant with staff dressed in creased white shirts that needed to be ironed and all mismatched clothing , some in jeans and some in trousers and some with aprons and some without. Not consistent and not what one would expect to find in a restaurant who price scale is high end. So all in all a good start but if these guys want to get up the ladder to make the dining experience one of value , buck up your teams front of house and ask your manger to spend more time with his guests than on his cell phone . Also candles on all tables would be nice not just on a few.. And some more artwork on the bland walls to match the bueatiful piece at the lobby would also not go a miss. One final thing... Lime scale stains in the toilets are not conducive to a fine dining establishment.. Get them cleaned too.
Overall great food , but let down by the lack of polish.. I will try this again to see if the bucked up.. It's worth a try.

We landed in this restaurant coming from the Dan Panorama hotel and searching for the closest place to dine.

Overall the restaurant atmosphere is very nice and the menu is interesting. Worth the visit.

“Great dining experience in Jerusalem”
Reviewed November 7, 2013

Everything was wonderful, but if you are spoiled by a prime ribeye at home, there are wonderful other choices. My hubby's goose and duck plate was superb as were our appetizers, wine, and service. My steak was perfectly prepared to the requested medium rare, but the meat was a bit on a chewy side.

Reservations are a must and the restaurant was full. We were dressed extra casually and all their patrons were dressed much nicer, but we were not looked down at. Overall, very nice dining experience.

“Very friendly”
Reviewed October 25, 2013

We hadn't booked this restaurant and were lucky to get a table in this very nice kosher restaurant. The food was excellent and the service very good. One of the owners who showed us to our table was even kind enough to suggest a restaurant for Saturday and went to the trouble of booking a table for us, now that's service!
